Terms of use of the website en.startinpost.com (hereafter the « Website »)


1. Personal Data Processing

Start’in Post collects and processes personal data voluntarily communicated to us on the Website (hereafter ‘Personal Data’).

Star’inPost manages Personal Data in order to process your application to the support and business acceleration program (hereafter ‘The Program’), and to keep you informed of our events and activities.

Pursuant to modified Act n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 on Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties, you have a right to access, modify, correct and delete Personal Data.  You may exercise that right at any time by sending a request to droit-acces@startinpost.com.

However, we remind you that we will no longer be able to process your application to the Program, should Personal Data be deleted. Personal Data may be communicated to other units of La Poste Group, such as, in particular, the company XAnge Private Equity.

2. Cookies

Cookies may be installed for temporary storage on memory, or on your hard disk while you visit the Website.

Cookies do not enable us to identify you, but allow us to register Website browsing-related information, and to generate anonymous statistics.

You can refuse cookies or, later on, disable cookies by changing your browser’s parameters.

3. Hyperlinks

The Website sometimes suggests links giving you access to other websites or resources. However, Start’inPost does not take part in approving the contents, advertizing, products or other documents or resources appearing on those websites (or available through them), and may not be held liable for any of those.

Moreover, Start’inPost may not, in any case, be held liable for direct or indirect losses or damages you incur or may potentially incur by accessing the contents, advertizing, products, or other available resources on those other websites.  Any question relating to another website must be sent to the administrator or webmaster of said website.

The scope of this Legal Notice extends solely to the Website, excluding the websites of any other individual or legal entity, as well as those websites which our Website suggests a link to.

4. Liability of  Start’inPost

We make every effort to ensure that the information displayed on our Website is accurate and up-to-date.  To this end, we reserve the right to modify the contents or display of the Website at any time and without notice.

However, we cannot guarantee that the contents of our Website is true, accurate or complete, in particular in case of modification by a third party.

The general structure, as well as the software, texts, images, textual contents, sounds, graphics, and any other element comprising the Website are the exclusive property of Start’inPost, or utilized by us under license.  These elements, in full or in part, are protected as intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, sui generis protection of databases, etc.).

Any full or partial representation of the Website by any process, without our express authorization, is prohibited, and would amount to counterfeit punishable pursuant to articles L. 335-2 and following of the French Code of intellectual property.

Brand names appearing on the website of Start’inPost, and of La Poste Group and its partners, as well as the logos, are registered trademarks, and may be semi-figurative or not.  Any full or partial reproduction or representation of such brand names, any modification, degradation of these brand names and/or logos without our express authorization are thus prohibited, under the meaning of article L. 713-2 of the French Code of intellectual property.

We grant you the right to reproduce all or part of the contents of the Website in order to store it for representation on a single-user screen and for reproduction of a single copy for digital or print back-up.  This right is granted in the context of strictly personal, private, non-commercial and non-collective use, strictly prohibiting any full or partial networking, redistribution or sale of this contents to third parties under any form.

Any reproduction, usage, modification, copy, reproduction, translation, sale, publication, exploitation or broadcast in digital or other format of any or all information, texts, photos, images, videos and data appearing on the Website is strictly prohibited.  Criminal and civil sanctions provided by law shall apply to any offender and liable person in breach of these mandatory provisions.

6. Applicable law / Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice and any usage of the Website are subject to the laws of France.  Any action arising out of the contents and/or usage of the Website shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
